Intensive Care Departments in the UK have a very limited number of spaces and resources.
In Nottingham City Hospital they have two wards .
However they only have 3 isolation beds, the rest of the beds are just divided by a curtain.
We at the Anthony Booth Trust are aiming to install Clean Rooms in the Hospital critical care departments.
These Rooms Are fully sealed with filtered air into and out of the room. These clean and modern rooms will be ideal for all patients with immune difficancy deseases.
The room will have a supply of paper Suits to be worn when entering the room as we all wash our hands on entering the wards yet we still have our outdoor clothes on.
We aim to have the first room installed within a year and the current estimate in excess of £90000 per room.
The trust has already been approached and asked could we expand to cover Nottingham, Lincoln, Derby, Leicester,,Leeds and Sheffield. This would be a massive undertaking and we are excited to begin this project.
